Exciting things going on for 2012 New Vocal Production Initiative Improving our singing and perfromance package is a top priority for this year. As a result, Dan and the Music Team have developed a new program of vocal training and individual coaching. Beginning in early January, Dan and Glenn will devote time at each meeting to teach vocal technique and provide individual coaching to members. This is a wonderful opportunity for guys to learn new techniques to help make their hobby more enjoyable. Holiday Chorus Last year, the Chorus provided nine holiday performances throughout the area from Thanksgiving to Christmas, including Longwood Gardens, the VA Hospital in Elsmere, the DE AARP luncheon, and Winterthur. We intend to build on this for 2012. Fall Show Our "A Cappella Fever" show in October was a big hit. The show featured several great a capella groups from our area as well as the Chorus of the Brandywine. We intend to build on this concept in 2012. |
